Beyonce Surprises Fans At Walmart

Best week ever for Beyonce. Not so good week for Target! I'm loving Yonce for this right now. I know it had to be Yonce and not Beyonce, because this was just too GANGSTA! Earlier this week, Target announced that they will not be carrying Beyonce's latest PLATINUM album. They stated, 

"At Target we focus on offering our guests a wide assortment of physical CDs, and when a new album is available digitally before it is available physically, it impacts demand and sales projections," a Target spokesperson told TheWrap. "While there are many aspects that contribute to our approach and we have appreciated partnering with Beyonce in the past, we are primarily focused on offering CDs that will be available in a physical format at the same time as all other formats. At this time, Target will not be carrying Beyonce’s new self-titled album 'Beyonce.'"

 To add to insult to injury, it was also announced that Target has experienced a 40M security breach. The chain said customers who made purchases by swiping their cards at terminals in its U.S. stores between Nov. 27 and Dec. 15 may have had their accounts exposed!! 
 

ANYWHO!!

King Bey killed two birds with one stone when she showed up at a Walmart (Target's Competitor) December 20th in a small Massachusetts town (Tewksbury) to buy her cd and do a little shopping. Us Beyhivers all know how Beyonce love(d) Target. I guess this was her way of saying "YOU CAN STICK A FORK IN ME...CUZ I'M DONE WITH YOU!" lol So she said "F U Target, and semi-promoted her new CD" (as if she needed it). That's what you call MULTITASKING! I know her fans were ELATED! I'm sure she gained NEW fans just because of that.

Beyonce shopped for a few toys and crayons, held a few babies..and GET THIS....SHE GAVE EVERY CUSTOMER ON SITE A $50 Walmart GiftCard. How gracious is she?? I know some of you would say, "Oh, that's nothing to her." But, it's the thought that matters. She didn't have to give ANYTHING at all. #TEAMYONCE all the way!
